1. Does Christmas Lights Creations have liability insurance?

Absolutely. Insuring our work and your home are very important, so that’s why we carry a $1M General Business Liability policy. Christmas Lights Creations will provide you with a copy of our Certificate of Insurance.

2. Are you required to have any special bonds or permits to install my lights and decorations?

No. The Memphis and Shelby County Electrical Code specifically exempts special event light installers from needing any bonds, permits or licenses.

3. Do we have to purchase lights and decorations from you? What about extension cords and timers, do we have to buy them too?

No! That’s one of the benefits of doing business with us and what sets us apart from other decorators. Christmas Lights Creations does not charge for extension cords and timers.

4. Do you rent lights and decorations?

Yes we do! If you would rather rent lights and decorations from us, we’ll be happy to do that.

5. If I have my own Christmas lights, will you install them?

No. We attempted to offer that service but it didn’t work out.

6. Will you install lights and decorations on our roof or in large trees?

No. We want your business and we’re not afraid of heights, but we will not install decorations on your roof or in trees taller than 18 feet.

7. Do you sell or rent Christmas trees? Do you decorate Christmas trees?

We do not sell or rent Christmas trees, but we will install lights on a tree. We generally limit our services to exterior lights, garland, wreaths, bows and blow molds.

8. Do you perform home interior decorating?

No. Our services are limited to home exterior decorating only.

9. Is Christmas decorating the only service you provide? Do you offer decorating services for other holidays and special events?

We offer decorating services for all occasions, including weddings, parties, St. Patrick’s Day, Independence Day and Halloween.

10. Do you provide decorating services anywhere in the Memphis area?

Our decorating services are limited to specific areas of Memphis, which at this time includes zip codes 38002, 38016, 38018, 38115, 38117, 38119, 38120, 38133, 38134, 38135, 38138 and 38139. We also provide services for the Chickasaw Gardens area and some areas located near the University of Memphis, Rhodes College and the Overton Square business district. All other areas are on a case by case basis and entirely at our discretion.

11. What happens if there is a problem with the lights?

If you find bulbs or an entire string burned out, contact us and we’ll replace it for you free of charge.

12. What’s the difference between the lights you have and those that I can buy from a retailer?

Our lights and decorations are of a higher quality than the lights you can purchase from a big box retailer. When we install your lights, they’ll be brand new and covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

13. What if I change my mind about the type of lights I want? Can I make revisions?

Yes. However, we’ll have to charge you for the additional time it takes to make the revisions. We may also have to purchase the lights you want if we don’t have them in stock.

14. I don’t have room to store my lights, will you store them for me?

If you rent lights from us, we’ll store them for you free of charge. However, if you purchase lights they belong to you and we will not store them.

15. Do I need to be home when you install my lights?

Yes. We want to ensure you’re happy with everything we’ve done before we leave your property.

16. How soon will you uninstall my lights and decorations?

When we uninstall Christmas lights we don’t schedule specific dates, but we guarantee that everything will be removed within 10 days from the last day you want to display your lights, weather permitting. As for other decorating projects, we’ll remove the lights on the next business day.

17. How far in advance do I need to schedule an installation with you?

If you’re interested in our Christmas decorating services, it would be best if you contacted us before September 30.  All other special event lighting projects are on a case by case basis. Contact us today to schedule an estimate.

18. All of this sounds great, but how much is it going to cost me?

We can’t put a specific price on your installation until we’ve seen what needs to be done. We will not give you an estimate over the phone.

19. Do you have an online store where I can buy blow molds and lights?

Yes. In fact, we encourage everyone regardless of where they reside to visit our Shop Page.

20. If I buy something in your online store, will you ship them to me? What if I reside in the Memphis area. Can I pick up from your warehouse?

Products purchased by anyone residing outside the Memphis area will be shipped using UPS Ground. If you reside within the Memphis area, you can pick up your purchase from us at our warehouse located at 4841 Summer Avenue. See our Ordering Policy for terms and conditions.

21. Is your website safe? How do you protect my personal information?

ChristmasLightsCreations.com provides an array of security measures to ensure your shopping experience will be safe and secure. We employ a 256-bit Extended Validation SSL to encrypt your personal information. We also use a custom 6G firewall and other security measures to protect our site and server. We use Stripe and Pay Pal Express to process all credit card payments for purchases in our store. ChristmasLightsCreations.com is PCI Level 4 compliant and our payment processors are PCI Level 1 compliant.
